Super Bowl XLVIII (48, for those of you counting along at home in contemporary numerals), was definitely a game to remember. The Seattle Seahawks swept the Denver Broncos with a 43-8 victory. It was a blowout, yes. The game, however, still had its share of entertaining moments, and we’re not just talking about the commercials. Here are our top five moments. (more…)

There are all sorts of reasons to look forward to the fall season, but if you’re a football fan, chances are pigskin is the only thing on your mind. The pre-season is already underway, and soon, the games that count toward the playoffs will take over Monday night television.
Of course, you won’t be sitting at home watching the re-plays. You’ll be in the stadium amidst the action, because we’re going to help you get there. Check out the schedule for your favorite team (if you haven’t memorized it already), and grab your tickets before you’re gone. We even have availability for the Super Bowl. Yes, the SUPER BOWL. Obviously, these tickets won’t last long, so snatch them now. Seriously, now!
If you’re trying to get out and do something this December, you’ve got plenty of options, and we’ve got your tickets! Whether you’re interested in a basketball game, comedic concert or a night at the theater, there’s sure to be an event that fits your personality.
Football fans still have the playoffs to look forward to, but if your team hasn’t had a good enough season, you may want to squeeze in a game before the year is over. The regular season ends on December 30th, and only the best teams will move forward from there. If you don’t catch them now, chances are you’ll have to wait until next August to show some support. On the other hand, Basketball lovers can choose to attend one of the many games coming up, and hockey fanatics have their own set of options (Detroit Red Wings vs. Nashville Predators on December 15th!). Check out these and other sporting events here.
Those interested in seeing a show should definitely look into Wicked. Labeled as “The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz,” it’s currently our featured show, and it promises a devilishly good time. This month, you can see a performance in Honolulu, St. Louis and for a limited time, Syracuse, New York (through December 9th). There’s no place like the theater!
Since everyone has their own peculiar taste in music, we couldn’t possibly list all the different artists on tour in December, but here are some of the highlights. Aerosmith will touchdown in multiple cities until a few days before Christmas: Las Vegas, NV (December 1st), Los Angeles, CA (December 3rd), New Orleans, LA (December 6th), Fort Lauderdale, FL (December 9th), Tampa, FL (December 11th), Nashville, TN (December 13th) and Kansas City, MO (December 21st).
Lady Antebellum also has a handful of December tour dates scheduled: Tampa, FL (December 3rd), Nashville, TN (Christmas Day) and West Palm Beach, FL (New Year’s Eve). Finally, for the parents of all the Beliebers out there, Justin Bieber is coming to a city near you – maybe: Toronto, ON (December 1st), Los Angeles (December 3rd), Philadelphia, PA (December 5th), Boston, MA (December 6th), Tampa, FL (December 9th), Fairfax, VA (December 11th) and Atlanta, GA (December 12th).
As always, Broadway tickets are available. If you’re planning a trip to the Big Apple this Christmas, sneak in a show! Broadway never disappoints.
In case you haven’t heard, the Atlanta Falcons are quite the force to be reckoned with this year.
As of last week, they were the only undefeated team in the NFL’s 2012-2013 season, and even though they lost against the New Orleans Saints this weekend, the Falcons have earned bragging rights. Frankly, they are a true contender for the 2013 Super Bowl Championship title.
Let’s take a look at the numbers. Quarterback Matt Ryan’s presser rating is currently at 103.0, the thirst-best in the league. A 68.9% completion percentage and a 17-6 TD-to-INT ratio is why he’s marching his way up the MVP short list. Then there’s wide receiver Julio Jones. In one game a lone, Jones finished with five beautiful catches, totaling 129 yards. In case you’ve gotten lost in the lingo, these are great numbers.
You’re sure to see them in the playoffs come January, but if you’d like to catch the action during a regular season game, there are plenty of options to choose from:

Sunday, November 25, 2012 – Tampa, FL – Raymond James Stadium – 1:00PM

Whether you’re out for blood loyally supporting your favorite NFL team or your Alma Mater college team, Football has got everyone’s blood boiling now that we’re mere weeks away from the Epic Finals! To the victors be the glory, and honor, forever – until next season. Amen. Let’s discuss some of the best teams out there right now in the NFL and College arenas.
NFC. Front and Center – The Green Bay Packers. 15-1. As if you didn’t know, right? Aaron Rodgers threw for five touchdowns. The Packers’ guard might have been down a bit to allow 21 points to the Bears, but they still won two turnovers. The New England Patriots are next up from the AFC with 13-3. Bill Belichick’s halftime speech apparently fired up the troops on Saturday, as they came out in a major offense wave with 27 consecutive points and the win. Then we have the good ole’ New Orleans Saints, also with 13-3. Dan Marino’s single-season yardage record was shattered by Drew Brees on Monday night. And he made it look like no big deal. The Saints very well could move to the top of the list if they play their cards right. The San Francisco 49ers have had an amazing turnaround for a team that was 6-10 last season – they are now 13-3 as well. Fifth overall right now, but certainly not least, are the mighty Baltimore Ravens with 12-4. Running back Ray Rice had an amazing touchdown from the 42-yard line. Now that that amazing feat has been immortalized on film, teams had better be ready and not under-estimate the Ravens. No matter how NFL history goes down, you don’t want to miss out on your chance for seats at 46th annual edition of the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Halftime entertainment will include Madonna, most likely with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj performing the upcoming single “Gimme All Your Luvin” as well as other hits “Holiday,” “Vogue,” “Ray of Light” and “Music.” You don’t want to miss this.
In the magical land of college football, NCAA fans are ripping each other apart over the twists and turns this season! The LSU Tigers are tearing it up with 13-0. Alabama is right on their heels Rolling that Crimson Tide with 11-1. Also tied with them at 11-1 are Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Stanford Cardinals. The Oregon Ducks are quack attacking it up at number five currently on the top lineup with 11-2, but you certainly never know what will happen next this 2012 season. One thing is for sure – it’s going to be a claws & teeth fight to the finish and the coveted Heisman Trophy.
