Whether you’re out for blood loyally supporting your favorite NFL team or your Alma Mater college team, Football has got everyone’s blood boiling now that we’re mere weeks away from the Epic Finals! To the victors be the glory, and honor, forever - until next season. Amen. Let’s discuss some of the best teams out there right now in the NFL and College arenas.
NFC. Front and Center - The Green Bay Packers. 15-1. As if you didn’t know, right? Aaron Rodgers threw for five touchdowns. The Packers’ guard might have been down a bit to allow 21 points to the Bears, but they still won two turnovers. The New England Patriots are next up from the AFC with 13-3. Bill Belichick’s halftime speech apparently fired up the troops on Saturday, as they came out in a major offense wave with 27 consecutive points and the win. Then we have the good ole’ New Orleans Saints, also with 13-3. Dan Marino’s single-season yardage record was shattered by Drew Brees on Monday night. And he made it look like no big deal. The Saints very well could move to the top of the list if they play their cards right. The San Francisco 49ers have had an amazing turnaround for a team that was 6-10 last season - they are now 13-3 as well. Fifth overall right now, but certainly not least, are the mighty Baltimore Ravens with 12-4. Running back Ray Rice had an amazing touchdown from the 42-yard line. Now that that amazing feat has been immortalized on film, teams had better be ready and not under-estimate the Ravens. No matter how NFL history goes down, you don’t want to miss out on your chance for seats at 46th annual edition of the Super Bowl on Sunday, February 5, 2012 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Halftime entertainment will include Madonna, most likely with M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj performing the upcoming single “Gimme All Your Luvin” as well as other hits “Holiday,” “Vogue,” “Ray of Light” and “Music.” You don’t want to miss this.
In the magical land of college football, NCAA fans are ripping each other apart over the twists and turns this season! The LSU Tigers are tearing it up with 13-0. Alabama is right on their heels Rolling that Crimson Tide with 11-1. Also tied with them at 11-1 are Oklahoma State Cowboys and the Stanford Cardinals. The Oregon Ducks are quack attacking it up at number five currently on the top lineup with 11-2, but you certainly never know what will happen next this 2012 season. One thing is for sure - it’s going to be a claws & teeth fight to the finish and the coveted Heisman Trophy.
