Daughtry Break the Spell Tour 2012

American rock band Daughtry is back and about to hit a stage near you for their “Break the Spell” Tour! Formed and fronted by American Idol season 5 finalist Chris Daughtry in 2006, their self-titled debut album was released in 2006 with the first single of the album, “It’s Not Over.” It was the eighth most played song on U.S. radio in 2007, and their second single from the album, “Home”, was the tenth most played song in the U.S. of 2007. The band’s second album “Leave This Town” was released in July 2009. The first single, “No Surprise,” was written by Chris Daughtry with Chad Kroeger and Eric Dill. One of my personal favorite songs from that album is “Ghost of Me.”

The band’s third album “Break the Spell” was released on November 21, 2011. The new video game Batman: Arkham City - The Album features a song by Daughtry called ”Drown in You” that I absolutely love. The Break the Spell album debuted at number eight on the Billboard Top 200 on November 28, 2011 with 129,000 copies sold. As of January 2012, the album has sold 346,000 copies in the United States. On January 26, “Crawling Back to You” debuted number twenty-four on the Japan Hot 100, becoming Daughtry’s first single to debut in Japan. The two tragic-hero Kings of Hip Hop are expanding their Empires with their instant-classic, first full collaborative album, Watch The Throne. Deadmau5 (pronounced “dead mouse”), otherwise known as Joel Thomas Zimmerman, is probably the coolest Electronic / House producer in the world. The Grammy-nominated Neo-Trance Torontonian has a wicked cool new North American concert tour coming up soon called Meowingtons Hax.
